Lantern undertake all the necessary groundworks for your conservatory.

We excavate foundations before laying a suitable base as demanded by the site. Generally we dig footings to a depth of 1m but if building controls recommend further depth, for example if there are conifers nearby, then we work to the individual requirements of the site.
During the groundworks stage we are able to move or accommodate existing drainage.
During the groundworks stage we are able to move or accommodate existing drainage. Once at the stage of constructing the conservatory base there are a series of options.

The final base will be dictated by the requirements of the site and the specification of the finished conservatory, factors which are determined at the survey stage. Bases can be either concrete, raft, or block and beam.
